This is where Matt and I get to share what we're up to, what's new and upcoming.

WOW, 2009 has turned out to be a very busy year for Team MAJiK!  I must say though that it has been a very good year as well.  Turkey season started off a little rough for the majority of the Team, but we weathered through that.  Matt and I turned over a new leaf by laying down our Mathews bows when we joined forces with Elite Archery and picked up our new Elite Z28's.  We had met the new owners and shot these bows at the ATA (Archery Trade Association) in Indianapolis in January 2009.

While there we also picked up and had sent to us several other new products, like G5's new Montec CS 100gr. broadheads and G5's new pro series drop away rest.  Both of which I would like to say are excellent products, as verified by some great whitetail deer and black bear that fell to them.

Which brings me onward with this year's accomplishments.  Team MAJiK went to La Griffe d'ours in Quebec with some of it's members for a very successful and truly great black bear hunt.  Then it was off to Ontario for a fishing trip that may very well have been the most relaxing trip we have ever done.    Then we have had some of our members like Missy, Denny and Cade Sherrone, along with Karl McCollum, shooting in 3D competitions, including the Can-Am games, the World 3D shoot and bringing home the trophies.  Congrats to them!

Whitetail hunting has been exceptional this fall.  It got started off with Caleb Baker putting his first buck with a bow down early this fall.  Cade Sherrone done it all himself for the first time this year and scored on a real nice buck.  Kaleb Pugh got his first deer ever, a nice buck and done it with his crossbow at 10 years old!  It's also been a great archery season for the adults as well.  Take a look at the updated deer pictures and you will see a lot of bone has hit the ground this year and I know of at least five of them by Elite Bows.

Don't get me wrong, the Team isn't done for the year.  Now it is time for Duck and Goose hunting with Team MAJiK's first ever dog, a black lab named Jack.  Matt has impressed even me with all the work he has put into training Jack from a pup.  If Jack performs half what has been taught, this should be a truly exciting waterfowl season.

Keep watching as Team MAJiK keeps putting them down, putting them on the wall and putting them in the books!
